Characteristics
- Measures the level of HPV antibodies in the blood
- Uses antibody–antigen binding to cover four of the nine-valent HPV vaccine’s antibodies: HPV6, 11, 16 and 18
- A quantitative assay measures the combined level of the four antibodies
- Where the HPV vaccine was given within the manufacturer’s stated period, the corresponding antibodies can be detected after vaccination, confirming that protection is adequate
